Leslie Branch
started his long association with York Light when he produced Oklahoma! in 1958. He went on to produce Carousel in 1959 and produced every main show between 1962 and 1972. Sadly, mid-way through production of The Land of Smiles he died. |

Verne Morgan
produced The Girlfriend (1955). As well as his acting and producing work he was the author of a book called "English People Speak Like This". |

Isobel Dunn
was a founder member of the society and its Dancing Mistress from 1954 until 1965. |

Fred Rodgers
was one of the founder members of the society and was the Musical Director for all main shows from 1954 until 1962. He also was the Producer of Mr Cinders (1956) and Old Chelsea (1957). |
