Vice President's 'Special Birthday' Lunch

On Sunday December 28th Company Vice President, Jean Potts, held a lunch at the Royal York Hotel, for family and friends to celebrate her "special" birthday.

On Sunday December 28th Company Vice President, Jean Potts, held a lunch at the Royal York Hotel, for family and friends to celebrate her "special" birthday.  Jean's sons Stephen and David, and their respective families, together with thirteen long standing members of the York Light Opera enjoyed a wonderful afternoon.
Jean, together with her late husband John, both in their twenties, was one of the performing members of the Society when it staged its very first production, which was "No, No Nanette", at the Empire Theatre (now the Grand Opera House), in 1954.  You should now be able to calculate what "special" means ?  Sorry Jean !!
