NODA Summer School 2009
YLOC Members Attend the NODA Summer School 2009 at Loughborough University
Seven members of the Company went back to school, attending a variety of week long courses at the NODA Summer School at Loughborough University. The Summer School offers a unique experience; a week of intensive training across a wide range of performance and backstage skills. Rachael Anderson attended Directing Youth Theatre, Rob Davies attended An Actor's Approach to Voice and Text, Eric Daines attended Musical Directors, Emily Rockliff attended the Musical Theatre Performers "Footloose" while James Noble, Michael Tattersall and Geoff Turner attended the Musical Performers "The Producers", where our very own Martyn Knight was the course tutor. It was a fun filled week, sharing our passion for amateur theatre with fellow students and tutors, but also challenging ourselves; trying those things outside our comfort zone !!"
